Well I saw Dr Melissa today & she says I am only 6 months old & I have lost a couple of pounds in the last week. The pain has been really bad so it makes it hard to eat so I cry a lot & sometimes try to nip at my furry foster sister Bella. Dr Melissa says that I have no circulation in my paw so they have scheduled the surgery & tell me I will feel better afterwards.
Here is me outside today with my neighbors grandkids getting a puppy massage – it was SO relaxing, I really LOVE kids
You will feel SO much better, sweetheart. I am certain of it. Sending you very best thoughts for your surgery. Remember to take it easy for a while when you come back home so you can recover.
Lisa and Pofi
I am counting on it – right now her yelping & crying is making me, Foster momma, cry
Oh gosh, I just read the previous blog on your Sweetie Honey! ,Quite a backstory. I’m so glad she has found her furever with you!
You mentioned her foster mom jad been on the site before…I think I read that right. Anyway, wondering who she was on here with nd how things turned out.
When is her surgery? Sounds like that bum leg needs to go!! Recovery is no picnic for a couple of weeks and Honey just needs potty breaks and rest. I jave a feeling she’ll ounce back pretty quickly though. She’s already using three legs.
I LOVE the photos of her with the neighbors kids. They are being so sweet and so gentle with her.
Sweetie Honey is a beautiful girl!
Stay connected and let us know how things are going. Have yiu read through the forums enough to have an idea of what to expect with recovery, how to prepare for that, etc.?
We’ll be cheering for Honey!!
Hugs to all!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
I am her foster Momma 😆
My prior tripawd foster was about 3 years ago & was named Pepper Lou & she found her very own human boy (family) & is living the life with hiking, trips to the lake & lots of massages & I get updates via Facebook.
I actually think i remember you from back then 🙄
It will be so worth it to get this sweetie out of pain. Will be sending healing thoughts and prayers for surgery day. Your biggest problem may well be keeping your fluffy from doing too much too soon. Hugs!
